Endlessly by Kiersten White read by Emily Eiden
Kate Winters is back from her summer break and finding out that being a goddess isn’t what she thought it would be. With her marriage on the rocks, Cronus close to breaking out, and her rival suddenly back in the picture, things are definitely not turning into the greek fairytale Kate envisioned.
Aimee Carter delivers another solid book with Goddess Interrupted. While I found the book to be better than the first, it was still just good not great to me. I enjoyed the storyline but not the romance as much. A good part of the book was spent on Kate’s insecurities and non or miscommunications with Henry. I know the strife is needed for the development of the relationship but it was becoming harmful to the likability of the main character. I also thought Kate’s character was pretty stagnate in the growth department.
Overall I thought the ideas were good, the story was entertaining, but the romance and characters could use some work. Goddess Interrupted is a nice quick read with an ending that will bring you back for the third installment.
